Check Out The A-10 Thunderbolt American Attack Jet which Can Shoot 1,150 Round Of Bullet Per Minute.

When talking about one of the most advanced militaries in the world today, The United States military will surely be on the podium of recognition.

With active service personnel of over a 1.3million and reserved personnel of about 799 thousand coupled with a lot of high-tech military jets and gadgets in their arsenal, the United States military is no doubt one of the best in the world.

It is a known fact handed since a distant time that when it comes to the production of high tech military aircraft, the United States is second to none. There are many sophisticated jets in the US military arsenal such as the iconic Blackbird Jet, The F-22 Raptor, The Concord, and B-12 Spirit, to name a few.

The above-mentioned jets are of course very unique but when it comes to air superiority and combat, The A-10 Thunderbolt nicknamed the Warthog will surely be on the podium of recognition.

The A-10 Thunderbolt is a single-seat, twin-turbofan, subsonic attack aircraft designed for the US Air Force (USAF). It was developed in 1977 and took its first flight in 1979.

The A-10 was created to provide close air support (CAS) to friendly ground forces by attacking enemy armored vehicles, tanks, and other ground forces.

What makes the A-10 suitable for battles is its hard external cover(frame). The frame is made of 540kg of titanium armor, this makes the jet very durable and resistant to attack which in addition protects the aircraft system when hit.

The A-10 also features a cantilever low-wing monoplane wing. This setting allows the plane to take off and land on short runways. The aircraft can also operate at a ceiling height of 1,000ft and a speed of 2.4km/h, this follows it to the target and takes down small moving objects effectively.

Talking off its military capabilities, the A-10 has an inbuilt GAU-8/A Avanger autocannon which can fire 1,150 rounds per second.

The A-10 Thunderbolt is truly a war machine.

Thanks for your time.
